Since 2022

A graduate of Business Administration and currently pursuing his CPA, Brian Nyakwamba is the project manager at Development Action Devolved Regeneration Group (DADREG), a CBO championing community development on health matters especially for orphan and vulnerable children. Mr. Nyakwamba has spent the last three years at the CBO managing the organizations programs and project, an assignment that has given the organization a reputation as an effective grassroot empowerment vehicle, while allowing Brian to cut a niche as a youth mentor, reproductive health rights advocate, a youth agribusiness champion and HIV/AIDS awareness trainer of unmatched pedigree. As a reproductive health rights advocate, he has been able to train community stakeholders and youth on their rights, he has been part of the inaugural paralegal training in Gembe, Mbita subcounty, which has seen many victims of gender-based violence get a voice, many community members have been assisted through legal support on this program. He has also been part of an international award-winning agribusiness documentary (AGFUND) themed as ‘no to poverty’. He is currently a member of the YABIC Accelerators program, an initiative of the National government aimed at capacity building the youth to develop sustainable agribusiness ventures for food security. Brian brings with him the kind of energy and youthful exuberance that should make LREN connect with and focus on the youth with the intention of uplifting them economically and socially.
